The earth is being depleted, and often we feel
depleted along with her. It is difficult to access
our inner lives in a culture so relentlessly and
technologically driven. This workshop will allow you to
work with your body, soul, and spirit to bring energy up
from your own ground, so that you can return renewed
to your encounters with the world.
In the majestic beauty of the Berkshire Mountains,
we will draw upon the mythical roots of "The Handless
Maiden" fairy tale to inform our work. It is the story
of a woman's journey from dismemberment, through
hope, to regeneration. Gathering together as a circle
of women, we will weave the themes of the tale into
a tapestry that has personal meaning for each of us.
Silent meditation, music and movement, art, dreams,
poetry, mask work, and the natural environment
will reveal to us the threads of our stories that have
brought us this far, and will enhance our commitment
to our selves, our lives, and our planet.
This is the fifth in our series of workshops dedicated
to adventure, discovery and renewal. Past workshop
participants have shared such enthusiasm for our
two-day workshops that we have decided to offer a
three-day retreat, a true sabbatical from your daily life,
which will enable you to withdraw from the world and
journey inward to the deepest levels of healing and
transformation.
Come join us!

It is a vital time for women.
The world needs our voices.
We must find and hold fast to our center, and enter into dialogue with our heart.
To dance in the present-day chaos we must have a center.
We invite you to join us in the dance!
